The past couple of years, while Ila has attended American Heritage, she has had a winter break in February. She and I have been able to leave for a few days, head down to Vegas and have some fun. The most important thing for her is getting her nails done and going shopping.
It has been fun just the two of us escaping together. I will really miss this next year when she transfers to WXHS.
This year Pearl had a Volleyball tournament in St. George so on our way home we decided to spend a night in St George and go watch Pearl play. It is so fun to watch Pearl. She has worked so hard to get to where she is at.
One of the most exciting things we did was that we went and picked up an engagement ring for Avram! The Slocums have a connection to someone that owns a jewelry store in St. George so we were able to go pick one out and bring it back to SLC for Avram.
How fun to have that one on one together. Beautiful ring.
