Have I ever mentioned Avrams obsession with collecting Jerseys?  He wears them all the time.  He brought these up to show me his collection.


This girl is a young women I worked with when she was a miamaid.  She has since been on a mission and now she is getting married.  I ended up throwing a Bridal shower for her.

I forgot to take pictures before the party but we did the shower on a Saturday morning.  We had parfaits, bagels and muffins.



Avram got to go with David Adams for his first temple visit. Avram was able to baptize David.

Adam left for a few days this week to go to a Builders conference in Las Vegas.  Its funny to listen to him telling me about all the great things he learned and saw at the conference.  He is definitely in the right profession.

AVRAM GOT HIS DRIVERS LICENSE!!!!


So far it has been amazing having an extra driver.  It is so nice not having to get him back and forth to school.  I didn't have a carpool because he had football so it wouldn't have been helpful for me.

Moving along

Juliene moved so we ended up helping her.  We took our kids and Nicholle brought her 4 boys and we all worked hard for two days.  It was a lot of work.  She had her current home, a cellar at the home, a storage unit, and a piano at her brothers house.


This is Elder Christopherson.  I missed him kneeling in front of this man.  This man is Lloyd Hicken. He is 102 years old.  During fast and testimony meeting Elder Christophersen sent a note to the bishop to have Brother Hicken come up and bear his testimony.  It was a very touching testimony.  He didn't say anything very profound but the spirit that testified during his testimony was amazing.  There is no question that this man has lived a good life, and stayed close to the gospel.  He almost glowed as he testified of Jesus Christ.  After the meeting Elder Christophersen knelt down to talk to Brother Hicken.  It was touching to me to see this servant of the Lord kneel to this humble servant of God.

New Year’s Eve

Adam was in the MTC over Christmas and New Years 20 years ago.  He and his district were waiting for their visas so they were just hanging out and helping with random stuff at the MTC.  At that time the MTC president made a time capsule.  It had the missionary lessons, discussions and a few other things in it.  Adam and his district threw their name tags in the box.  The plan was to open the box in 20 years.
Adams district was invited back to the MTC for New Years eve.

Christmas 2019

We had the Slocums up for a Christmas party.  Juline came also.  She spent Chrsistmas eve with us.  Im really going to miss this group of boys when they are all off on their own.  If our boys serve missions then there will be 4 in that group on missions at the same time.

Briggs got new riding gear for Christmas.  He really needed a new helmet.  His head grew out of the last one.

Ila had a Christmas list a mile long.  Luckily she forgot and was super excited about what she ended up getting for Christmas.

We lived on SUGAR and treats over Christmas.  I made some home made Carmel to put on pretzels and apples because we needed sugar on everything.



David and Stacy sent us a goodie bag for Christmas.  Yummy!

Party prep.

The Christmas season was wonderful.  We completed a couple of puzzles this month.


I have Pearl and Amy over almost every Wednesday to play.  We made ginger bread houses one day.

It wouldn't be Christmas without a stop to visit Gabe.

Ila and I made some sugar and ginger bread cookies together.  I gotta do the yearly traditions.

Briggs in December

I have about 10 drafts on my blog that I haven't finished and posted so Im going to try and get them all published.

Briggs was super busy November and December.  He is preparing for his play, dancing on the school ballroom team and he played on the basketball team.




There was a ballroom competition at the school so I volunteered to help.  Avram got stuck making cotton candy.




Briggs did really well.  I think he took a 1st place, 2nd, and 4th.
