Windows

We spent a weekend installing most of the cabin windows.

Brighams friend, Zac happened to be in island park the same weekend so Zac came and helped us one of the days.  Chad also came and helped one of the days.
I don’t think we could have completed the job without Avram and Briggs.  They are getting to be a big help in these kind of situations.

Briggs, Zac and I went on a couple of fun dirt bike rides. We drove into West Yellowstone one day and had pizza.

Zac’s family took Ila and Briggs out on a boat for an afternoon.

So besides A LOT of hard work, we had a lot of fun.

Kidney….stones

Adam has been battling a 1/4 in kidney stone since May.  It took a long time to get him into a doctor but we finally got things worked out.  The doctor scheduled surgery so that they could laser the kidney stone and break it up.  It was too big to pass on its own.  He was able to pass the stones without too much pain.  We are so thankful for modern medicine.  Adam said, he didn’t realize how much the kidney stone was affecting him until it is finally gone.

Dennis and Cheri arranged a family reunion.  Our kids met step cousins they have that they have never met before.  It was a great experience to see everyone again after so long but it was also an eye opening experience for them.

July was a busy one

One of the most exciting parts of July was a weekend out to vernal.  We went there for the 24th of July for the celebration that the city puts on.

We went bowling.

We tried going swimming at the hotel where we were staying but the manager kicked us out.
We went to the parade.

And we went to a car show where Justin entered his tractor.
Ila went to Trinas nail school and got acrylic nails put on.
At the car show David and Ila entered and won a three legged race.

We had a lot of fun in Vernal.
