We have some good friends, The Reisenbergs. They have wanted a dog for a long time but unfortunately they had a dog about 10 years ago that was a monster, destroyed everything, and was everything you don't want in a dog. This has traumatized them and they have stayed away from dogs ever since. The kids have been begging for a dog for a long time. We talked the Reisenbergs into getting one of our friends Bernedoodle pups.
This is Bodie. Britany, the mom, was super hesitant about a dog. She was dragging her feet and not committed to the idea of a dog. But her kids and husband really wanted a dog. We watched the dog for two days until she finally decided they would get the puppy. After the first night she called me at 7am in panic. She told me that this was a major mistake and she wasn't going to be able to manage taking care of a puppy. I calmed her down and Adam and I went and picked up the puppy. We told her to let us take him for a few days and we would get him over the first little hump and then they could try it out again.
Well that is a great idea until there are two puppies in the house. Both trying to adjust to their crates, potty training etc. After the first day I was loosing my mind. Adam was great to jump in and help out. He took Rebel with him to work for a couple of days and I kept Bodie at home to work with him.
After a week Bodie was doing amazing. He is a lot like our dog Buddy. He is super mellow, obedient and very loving.
Rebel is more energetic and much harder to potty train.

That Bodie is a really great dog. I hope they will love him. He is such a cutie.
