I spent hours sanding it down. I didn't want to add another layer of paint to this mess before it was striped. A lot of the little details and designs were covered.
I bought some new handles and a mirror. Tada, the completed piece. Ila loves it! She loves to sit and do her hair and pretend makeup.
We have had some beautiful weather lately so you can imagine my disappointment waking up to this Monday morning. Luckily it didn't stay around for long but I have to brace myself because we are going to have snow again this week.
I never know what I will find in my pictures on my phone.
It was westward expansion day at school. Isn't Briggs a cutie. He said, "mom, Im not suppose to look cute!" Ha Ha, he just can't help himself, he's cute.
You will probably get a lot of pictures of the sunset. Now that our new deck faces west I love watching the sunset (it is easier to watch because we have windows and a deck)
Everyone had Easter plans so we invited Adams family up on Friday night for Pizza and a Movie. It was a fun night and even nicer to have room for everyone.
It can't be Easter without some hard boiled eggs and food coloring.
We had a great week. For scripture reading we had spent the week studying the last week of Christ's life. The kids really enjoyed it and on Friday night when company left late they still insisted on having our scripture study time.

I love your little dresser. That seat is so cute. You are right Brigs is a cutie. It looks like Easter was a success.
ReplyDeleteBriggs has really changed over the past year. He looks much older. Fun to see the color of the fingers of the Easter-egg "dyers."
ReplyDeleteLots of fun, good things going on there. That little vanity is so cute.
ReplyDeleteThat vanity turned out so stinkin cute!!! Briggs does look cute in his western get-up!
