Fulfilling commitments

 

I passed this car on the freeway a few days ago.  I kind of feel like life is like this right now.  

Backing up a little, We have our yearly family reunion up in island park in a couple of weeks.  Both Michael and David reported that they would not be coming.  Neither of them have ever come to these yearly family get togethers.  It's hard not being able to see family, especially our nieces and nephew who are going up and don't know us.

After a little discussion Justin, Crystal, Mom and Dad had all agreed to help make it possible to get Lisa, Addy, Mika, and Max here for the get together.  

Adam and I called and talked to Mike and Diana and then I hit up David.  Max will be flying up next week and staying with us for just over a week.  I will be flying down to Texas and bringing back the girls to spend 2 weeks with us.  

We have been getting excited for the visit but it hit me the other day that my house is no where near ready for company.  We are still drying out carpet.  

After some discussion and negotiations we decided to give Briggs and Avram each their own rooms.  The only way to give them each their own rooms is for me to give up my craft room.  😕

So this week I moved all my craft stuff and helped Briggs get moved in.
