Last year things went so well with the building and selling of the cabin that a door opened up for more work this coming year. Adam has had a few people come to him asking him to build a cabin for them. We have also teamed up with Chad and Nicholle to build another cabin.
We were able to get enough work that we started another business in idaho called "Modern Mountain Builders." Adam and I will work together on this business.
We have hired a general contractor to go to island park full time to build. This is a necessity since Adam is still very busy with Clearview construction here in Utah.
The best part about building in Island Park is that it pushes us to go up there a lot. Although there is work to do when we go up, we also get in play time. And even better, a lot of family time.
We are also getting things figured out so that not only is there a lot of fun, but we have great food.
Over Memorial Day weekend the boys weren't able to go with us so we took Pearl Adams along to hang out with Ila. They had a blast!
The dogs also loved life in the wild.
The hard part is that Adam is working constantly. It is something we feel we need to do right now because we feel so blessed to have work coming in. It has been really hard on him but we know, from experience, that the economy can change quickly and the work can and will dry up.
So you are building another cabin for you guy??? You are going to put a lot of miles on your cars.
