It has been too long since I posted. So I will try to justify myself with these next few entries.
This past month we had our yearly stake activity days program.
We typically have a count of 70 girls. This year the count was 108. Adding almost 40 extra girls to the activity is tough.
This year our whole activity was based on service.
We used frogs to come up with the acronym
Forever
Remember
Offer
Generous
Service
= Frogs
The activities we had were all focused on how the girls could serve.
1) In one section the girls made little frog wands that they will use in their home as they go around and perform service in the home. They were given a list of ideas in which they can serve in their home.
2)The second activity was decorating cookies to give to someone else.
3)The third group was making blankets for Primary Children Hospital
4) The fourth group was coloring pictures that we will cut out and give to each of the nurseries in the stake to help teach the kids songs.
Ila got to join the party even though she isn't old enough. This is the benefit of having mom involved.
I personally made 108 aprons for the girls.

That looks like a really fun activity. There are some happy faces there.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Sounds and looks like a great activity. Cute decorations and aprons!
