Photography

My little hobby has been getting used a lot!  I actually feel like I need to take a class or something so I can get better.

I took some pictures for my friend, Briggs’ director, for her 5th-6th grade play.  Briggs wasn’t in the play but Jules has helped my kids so much that I owe her a ton!

Avram is on the basketball team so I have been taking pictures for them and doing the score keeping/ stats for the game.

Ballroom competitions have started so we have had a lot of variety in our activities.

This was Briggs competition at BYU.

I have been taking pictures and I am their seamstress for their uniforms.
Being an involved parent take a lot of time and work!

2nd isn’t bad, but 1st is better

Avram finished off his football season in 2nd place.  It was a great season and he had a lot of fun.  He also learned a lot!  It was great that he could gain some friends for when he goes to woods cross high school.

If avram can focus and work hard he can become and extremely good football player.  We will see if he gains that desire.

I have a good friends that is an Olympic weight lifter.  She holds the world championship record in her division.  There was a competition in SLC so I went to watch her.

She won the competition and set aim new American records.

Halloween is over.

Halloween is over and I haven’t posted anything.  Ila was Mal from the Disney movie descendants.  We had a fun trunk or treat with the ward. And the weather was beautiful.

Ila was sick on the day of Halloween.  She was so worried she couldn’t go trick or treating.  We ended up giving her some Tylenol and she was able to trick or treat for about an hour.

These are a few pictures of my fiends house.  Her favorite holiday is Halloween and she decorates half of her house like a haunted house.  It is so cute!

This cute little ginger bread Halloween house was made by sister Christopherson, in our ward.  She is very talented when it comes to giner bread houses.  I can’t wait to see her Christmas one.  She always makes one for the festival of trees.

The boys didn’t get into many festivities for Halloween.  Avram happily stayed at home and watched tv.  Briggs want quite ready to give up the trick or treating.  He didn’t dress up but he accompanied Ila with trick or treating.

Always an adventure

A couple of weeks ago Ila and I got to have a girls night.  The two of us drove up to Rexburg for Pearls baptism.  We got to meet up with Justin's family and Crystal's family and we went out to eat at Famous Daves.  Afterward Ila and I stayed in a hotel together.  It was fun to have some time alone with her.

The boys stayed busy finishing up a stake service project (Adam is in the stake young mens presidency) and then Avram had football.

Happy

It was hard to get up this morning to get the kids to school.  It was dark when we left the house and everyone was doing their best to try and not loose their patience.
After I dropped the kids off and started heading toward the gym my breathe was taken away as I saw the beauty of the morning that was in front of me.
I thought to myself, “you do not yet look so happy as I mean you to be.” CS Lewis

These pictures do not show the beauty that lay in front of me but I thank the Lord for the happiness that he has placed in my life.

Lol, to top off this morning look what was in front of my house when I got home
