Avram

Briggs has decided to try out for football this year.  Avram and Briggs are going to football practice 3 days a week at 6am.  The other two days the coach expects the boys to come in for study hall.

WXHS got a new coach this year and so far he is amazing!!!  He has the expectations and the work ethic of a winning coach.  I wish Avram had a couple more years of high school so he could work with this new coach more.  Im so excited to see what this coach can do with the team after such a disastrous coach last year.  Several players left the school to go play somewhere else because their experience last year was so bad.  This new coach will have a great program but it may take a few years to over come the damage that was done to this team.

Along with Avrams early mornings he started a new job this week.  He works at Mo Bettah.  Our good friend owns the store so it is a great starting point for Avram.

It makes for a long day when you start at 5:30 am and don't finish work until 10:15pm.

MMB

If you are interested in building a cabin in island park, Idaho you are typically on a two year waiting list.  While building our cabin this past summer Adam was approached by serval people wondering if he would build their cabin.
After multiple inquiries we decided, "why not build a couple cabins?"  So in November I filled for an EIN# and a business license.  The business name is Modern Mountain Builders.
Adam had to go up to island park last weekend to meet with a potential new client so after finishing my real estate exam Thursday night, Friday morning we jumped in the car and drove to island park.
It was a quick over night trip but he picked up another cabin to build.
We also got to go into our cabin that we sold, it looks amazing.

Taking advantage of time

With two weeks of our family being quarantined I took advantage of every minute.  I worked with Ila to get her room deep cleaned and we finally hung up this awesome blanket that grandma made for her at Christmas.

Next I tacked the boys room.  It was a lot of work.  We took out an old broken dresser and bought a new dresser at ikea along with a night stand for each boy.

Adam even stayed home for a couple of days.  He couldn't afford to stay home the entire "quarantine" time.  We have been blessed that Adam has stayed very busy through this whole covid ordeal.  The couple of days Adam was home we build this desk in our room and Added some shelves about the washer and drier.

This desk ended up being a huge blessing because I decided, last minute, to sign up for an online idaho real estate class.  Adam and I have been talking about me getting licensed as a Realtor in idaho because we paid the Realtor that helped us so much money from the sale of our cabin.
So I was online in classes M-F for two weeks.  8:00 am-5:30 pm.
The instructors were super strict about being attentive and involved in class so this ended up being a huge commitment.
I signed up for the national and state examines the week after class ended so that I could finish everything up before I forgot anything.  I still need to get some finger prints done and then hang my license with a broker but I have finished the hard part.

Having to pay for the play

Legacy takes a week off in February so this year Ila played with the Adams most of the break.  Crystal keep the kids busy sleding, children's museum, hikes, etc.

It was a great week for them but by the weekend Jake was sick with Covid, which passed to Pearl who then gave it to Ila.

At that point we decided it was our families turn to deal with Covid.  We didn't quarantine Ila and we just decided if we got sick then we got sick.  Miraculously no one else got sick.  WHAT?  I don't know how it is possible that we didn't get sick.

Young Women

It seems like each week life becomes a little more "normal."  Young women's is back and busy.  We have been having weekly activity for the past couple months.  The beehives are the best because they all come to the activities every week.
