Lots of Smiles

Mckade wins the happiest. Seriously it is amazing how happy this baby is.

Movie night for the girls

Saturday we had a cooking day and everyone pitched to to make Mexican Sopes.  They are delicious!  My bid kitchen came in handy.

We finished off this night cheering for David at an indoor soccer game.

I can't imagine how fun it would be if we all lived within a short distance (1 hour or less) from each other.

Family togetherness

I can't begin to list the countless fun and things that everyone did.
These boys haven't ever played together until this day.

My boys had at least one if not more little girls following them at all times.

A game of family feud brought out the competitive nature in the Anthony kids.

All the grandkids got a shirt from Hawaii from Grandpa and Grandma.

We will all enjoy an apron through the year as we cook.

Precious Moments

Its crazy to realize how many years have passed since all of us have been together.  Between living in 4 different states and 2 grandparent missions it has been impossible for everyone to be in the same place for the past 7 years.

We had a marathon of fun and family time the past few days.  We started it all with Kangaroo zoo followed by a movie at the theater.

With 16 kids running around it kept everyone busy.  My boys were a huge help! (who would have thought the day would come that they would be the best helpers under these circumstances?)

Max stayed with us for a couple of nights.  He is such a sweet and loving little boy.   The best story about Max  that David shared is that Max wanted to wear a tie for school pictures.  David thought that was ridiculous so Max snuck the tie to school and put on his clip on tie just in time for pictures.  He couldn't hide his disobedience once pictures were printed.  How did David get a boy that disobeyed by wearing a tie to school?

Max loved being in a house with kids.  There was always someone ready to play and have fun.  He hated when it was time to leave with his parents.  Hopefully we can get him back again soon.

This was Max's and Ilas to do list one morning when he was here:

Max got to eat home made scones for the first time.  He gave them a thumbs up.

Thanksgiving feast

I know mom did a lot of work preparing for thanksgiving but everyone had an assignment and I think it went smoothly.  Adam was uncharge of smoking the turkey and I made rolls and orange rolls.

Diana helped the kids make these cute little turkey crafts for the table.

Crystal made string bean casserole and yams

Justin was on pie duty and David provided a great selection of drinks.

We ate a lot and laughed a ton.

The Bird

I am decorating the bulletin board again this year for Ilas class.  I forgot to photograph my halloween board but here is the Thanksgiving board.

For Halloween Ila was Harley Quinn, Jokers girl friend.  I don't know where she learned about this character.  She did some trick or treating with our neighbors and then we went and visited Grandpa and Grandma and their neighborhood.  It was really cold this year!
